Urgently seeking experienced Care Assistants for IMMEDIATE STARTS!
This large care home caters for up to 54 residents with Dementia related Illnesses. You will be expected to hit the ground running and fit into the existing Care Team. You will be required to perform general housekeeping duties such as laundry and cleaning rooms.
Key Responsibilities
• Supporting the residents with their personal care, ensuring their comfort and hygiene needs are maintained, ensuring the dignity of all residents.
• Follow individualised care plans precisely to meet the residents unique physical and emotional needs.
• Complete logs, reporting accurately. If any issues are raised report to the person in charge as soon as possible.
• Work effectively and professionally alongside the existing care team to assist them to enhance their resident’s lives.
What We Are Looking For:
• At least three months experience in a residential setting is essential.
• An empathetic, patient, and highly motivated attitude towards caring for the Elderly.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to handle sensitive and situations with empathy.
• Excellent organizational skills for managing essential paperwork.
For this role, you must have;
– A minimum of 3 months experience in a Care environment
– A DBS dated within the last 6 months, registered on the update service or the facility to pay for one upfront at the cost of £49.50.
– All relevant mandatory training in Safeguarding Vulnerable Adults, Infection Control, Moving and Handling and Health and Safety, ideally with the certificates dated within the last 6 months, or we can assist you to access online training platforms.
– Referenceable work history covering the past 2 years
