Santa is coming to town, and he has brought you a role where no two days are the same, that is full of enjoyment?

This home that boasts a warm, welcoming environment is looking for Carers with at least three months in Care that are flexible in their approach to fit into their established team of Carers. This home caters for residents with Dementia related illnesses and specialises in illnesses associated with the Elderly.

You are expected to always deal with the residents with respect and empathy, ensuring they have a good quality of life.

Key Responsibilities
• Delivering personal care to individuals that are unable to do this for themselves.
• Follow individualised care plans precisely to meet the unique physical and emotional needs of each resident.
• Complete logs, reporting accurately and reporting any issues to the Nursing Staff.
• Work effectively and professionally alongside the existing care team to perform Night checks as per the resident’s care plan.

What We Are Looking For:
• At least three months previous experience in a residential, nursing or elderly care setting is essential so you can hit the ground running.
• An empathetic, patient, and highly motivated attitude towards care.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to handle sensitive situations with empathy.
• Excellent organizational skills for managing essential paperwork.

Hourly Rate: Rates of pay are £13.45 hour per hour. You will also accrue up to 28 days paid holiday per year.
Working Hours: Shift times are:- Night Shifts – 2000 to 0800 Other shifts are available on request, especially bank holidays and Christmas!

Experience & Qualifications

For this role, you must have;
– A minimum of 3 months experience in a Care environment
– A DBS dated within the last 6 months, registered on the update service or the facility to pay for one upfront.
– All relevant mandatory training up-to-date and ideally certificates to show for this or we can assist you to access online training platforms.
– Referenceable work history covering the past 2 years
– A passion to make a difference to an individual’s life.
