This lovely care home which caters for up to 14 adults living with a diagnosis of Autism, moderate to severe learning disability and additional severe and complex challenges.
This large, recently refurbished care home is based within the Ollerton Area. In this role you will be looking after their residents, helping them with their everyday nutritional and hygiene needs and taking part in activities that enhance their quality of life.
Responsibilities include:
• Supporting individuals with their personal care if needed, always maintaining their dignity.
• Making sure all checks are completed and logged as per company requirements and that their safety is always maintained.
• Report any findings on their logging systems, highlighting any issues.
• Household/domestic duties such as laundry, ironing, cooking and cleaning.

To be suitable for this position you must have:
– An Enhanced DBS dated within the last 6 months preferable on the update service. If not, don’t panic we can assist you to obtain one as a cost of £49.50.
– Up to date certificates in Infection Control, Safeguarding Vulnerable Adults and Moving & Handling training is essential.
– A two year Referenceable work history is essential.
– At least 3 months experience within a similar setting.
– Certified Safety Intervention training is preferred but not a necessity.
