This outstanding care home is looking for well-motivated Care Assistants to assist in the support of elderly people with Age Related Illnesses. You will be expected to hit the ground running and integrate into the team. You will be attending to their activities of daily living and will be dealing with clients with a wide range of physical and mental disabilities related to age. Dementia care experience would be advantageous but not essential.
Daily tasks will include:
• Attend to client’s daily hygiene requirements and nutritional needs
• General Housekeeping duties
• Observations of client’s conditions and reporting accordingly using the company’s reporting systems
• Complying with health and safety at all times in a professional manner
For this role, you must have;
– A least 3 months experience in an Elderly Care environment
– A DBS dated within the last 6 months, registered on the update service, if not we can perform a DBS on your behalf at a cost of £49.50
-Up to Date relevant mandatory training in Moving and Handling, Infection Control and Safeguarding Vulnerable Adults and ideally the certificates to show for this or we can assist you to access online training platforms.
