A well-established elderly residential care home in the Ashgate area of Chesterfield is seeking dedicated Care Workers to join their passionate team.

Key Responsibilities
• To deliver exceptional personal care, ensuring the comfort, hygiene, and ensuring the dignity of all residents.
• Follow individualised care plans precisely to meet the unique physical and emotional needs of each resident.
• Complete daily paperwork, logs, and reports accurately to maintain seamless continuity of care.
• Work effectively, professionally, and harmoniously alongside the existing care team.

What We Are Looking For
• Previous experience in a residential or elderly care setting (preferred).
• A compassionate, patient, and highly professional attitude.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to handle sensitive situations with empathy.
• Excellent organizational skills for managing essential paperwork.

Duration: We have ongoing hours available and potentially a permanent role for the right candidates!
Contract Type: Temporary
Hourly Rate: Rates of pay are £13.15 per hour. Other shifts are available at premium rates. You will also accrue up to 28 days paid holiday per year.
Working Hours: Shift times will be between 07:00 to 14:30. Other shifts are available on request.

Experience & Qualifications

For this role, you must have;
– A minimum of 3 months experience in a Care environment
– A DBS dated within the last 6 months, registered on the update service or the facility to pay for one upfront
– All relevant mandatory training up-to-date and ideally certificates to show for this or the facility to pay for these.
– Referenceable work history covering the past 2 years
– A passion to make a difference
