Looking for local care shifts that actually fit around your life?
We’re looking for compassionate, experienced Care Assistants to help out at a welcoming residential home in the Ilkeston area. The home specializes in supporting elderly residents living with age-related illnesses such as Dementia and Alzheimer’s, focusing closely on both their physical and psychological well-being.
Think of us as your shortcut to the best local shifts—you tell us your availability, and we line up the work with zero pressure.
What you’ll be doing:
• Supporting residents with their daily tasks, including personal hygiene, mobility, and nutrition.
• Spending quality time with residents to support their mental and physical well-being.
• Helping with light housekeeping tasks and following health and safety guidelines.
• Keeping accurate logs, reporting condition updates, and noting any incidents to senior staff.
What we need from you:
• Previous experience working as a Care Assistant (experience with Dementia care is a big plus).
• A dedicated, reliable nature and a genuine pride in making a difference to the lives of others.
• An enhanced DBS check (or we can help you get one sorted quickly).
Why you’ll love it:
• Fast-track starts: Get compliant and out to work quickly with immediate shift availability.
• Total control: Choose the exact days, nights, or weekend shifts that fit your current lifestyle.
• Weekly pay: Money in your account every week, no long waits.
To apply for this role you must:
– Have 3 months experience within a similar care environment
– Have a checkable work history
– Have up-to-date mandatory training documents, Safeguarding Vulnerable Adults, Moving & Handling and Infection Control. Should you not have up to date certificates we can offer online training.
