We’re looking for experienced Night-time Care Assistants to help out during the overnight hours at a gorgeous, medium-sized care home in the Ilkeston area. The home accommodates up to 31 residents, and they need reliable people to join their friendly team to ensure everyone gets exceptional care throughout the night.

What you’ll be doing:
• Providing high-quality personal care to both male and female residents during the night.
• Safely assisting residents with mobility, including the use of hoists and stand aids, and conducting scheduled repositioning.
• Responding promptly to buzzers to ensure resident safety and comfort.
• Handling light domestic duties and keeping the environment clean and safe.

What we need from you:
• Solid previous experience working as a Care Assistant (especially with night shifts).
• A reliable, attentive nature and a friendly approach to residents and team members.
• An enhanced DBS check (or we can help you get one sorted quickly).

Experience & Qualifications

Don’t have a valid DBS and/or training?? Do not worry as we can help you with this. We are happy to offer training available at a subsidised fee and the certificates are yours to keep!

– Have referenceable work history
– Hold in-date mandatory training certificates (inc. moving and handling, safeguarding vulnerable adults and infection control)*
– Hold an enhanced DBS certificate dated within the past 12 months or registered on the update service*
– Have a minimum of 3 months paid UK work experience working within a care setting.
