Reliable and compassionate Support Workers required for a residential home in the NG8 area ,specialising in providing care for those with physical and/or dementia related illness.
As a Support Worker, you will work to empower residents to remain as independent as possible in their daily routines.
You will aid their mobility and nutritional needs, whilst ensuring that physical and psychological wellbeing is the utmost priority. Additional responsibilities could include completing domestic tasks, adhering to health and safety guidelines, and taking responsibility for promoting the welfare of the adults in your care – although no two days will be the same! If you are an effective team player with a positive attitude, then we would love to hear from you!
As a Support worker, you will need:
– An Enhanced DBS dated within the last 12 months
– Up to date Infection Control, Safeguarding Vulnerable Adults and Moving & Handling training
– A 5-year Referenceable work history
– At least 3 months experience within a similar setting
If you do not have a valid DBS and/or training, do not worry as we can help you with this. We are happy to offer online training available at a subsidised fee and the certificates are yours to keep!
