This service is staffed 24 hours per day but they are looking for Carers to work Night shifts starting at 2000 to 0800. There are other shifts available on request. Weekend support is also required and this will be paid at a premium.

Job Description

Our client in the Brigg Area is seeking experienced Care Assistants to work within their homely residential care home supporting their regular care staff in providing a high standard of care. This service offers residential care support, long-term, day care and respite to 13 residents from across North Lincolnshire and they specialise in Asperger Syndrome, Autism/ASD, Epilepsy, Hearing Impairment & Deafness, Speech Impairment and Visual Impairment.

We require our Care Assistants are required to have sound qualifications in Health and Social Care with all your relevant mandatory training being relevant and up to date.

It is desirable that you have experience of dealing with residents with learning Difficulties as this home specialises in this area. You will be attending to their activities of daily living, following their care plan and requirements. You will be assisting them in their activities of daily living to stimulate and improve their quality of life. You will be attending to their physical and nutritional needs. You will also be expected to take part in activities outside of the home and dealing with residents on a one to one basis.


Experience & Qualifications

• NVQ LVL 2 as a minimum, or time served with checkable work history • Moving & Handling and Hoist Training as a bare minimum. • Up to date DBS/ CRB check for adult services, preferably on the update service or the facilities to be able to pay for one upfront.
