You will be required to work Day shifts starting at 0700 hrs to 1445 hrs , Monday to Friday. There are other shifts available on request.

Job Description

Our client requires experienced Care Assistant to assist in the care and support of the elderly in a care home, assisting the established team of Carers to deliver a wide range of services to their residents. You will be attending to their activities of daily living and will be dealing with clients with a wide range of physical and mental disabilities. Dementia awareness is desirable but not essential. Your daily tasks will include:

• Attending to the resident’s hygiene and nutritional needs
• General Housekeeping duties
• Observations of client’s conditions and reporting accordingly
• Liaising with other medical professionals when required
• Complying with health and safety
• Completion of paperwork at the end of each shift.


Experience & Qualifications

• All care assistant must have an NVQ Level 3 in Health and Social Care • All relevant training documents such as the Care Certificate including Moving and Handling, Infection control and Safeguarding • Hold a CRB dated within the last 12 Months, be signed up to the update service or have the facilities to be able to pay for one up front.
