Job Description

We require experienced Care Assistant to assist in the care and support of The Elderly in a care setting and assist the established team of Carers. You will be attending to their activities of daily living and will be dealing with clients with a wide range of physical and mental disabilities. Dementia care experience would be advantageous also. This role has the potential to go from temporary to permanent for the right candidate. Daily tasks will include:

• Attend to client’s daily hygiene and nutritional needs
• Housekeeping duties
• Observations of client’s conditions and reporting accordingly
• Complying with health and safety at all times
• Completion of relevant paperwork when required.


Experience & Qualifications

• At least a year’s experience in Health & Social Care or an NVQ level 2 in Health and Social Care. • A current Moving & Handling, Infection Control and Safeguarding as well as other care training documents such as MAPA training. • A current DBS Certificate dated within the last year or the facilities to be able to pay for one up front.
