The role pays £8.65 to £9.50 per hour depending on the type of shift worked. Plus mileage allowance + £35 on call bonus + company benefits.
You will be working on a rota basis (5 out of 7) the shifts will vary between 06.30am – 2.30pm and 3pm – 10pm

Job Description
Great opportunity for a Senior Care Assistant with weekly competitive pay.
Reporting directly to the Managing Director your primary role will be to oversee the day to day running of the Community Care Team. Ensuring that a high level of care is delivered you must assist the Care Assistants, providing a complete support system.
There will be a requirement to train and mentor new members of staff through their probationary period and carry out spot checks thereafter.
You must oversee all MARS sheets and check that all medication is administered in the correct way.
A further requirement will to implement all new care plans and risk assessments, following this up by ensuring that care is then carried out in accordance with the plan.
You will be responsible for all the relevant paperwork and administration associated with the role.
On Call is an essential element of this position and as such it is the responsibility of the Senior Carer to make sure that they are available should there not be enough carers on duty and if an emergency arises.
Experience & Qualifications
Minimum requirements for Care Assistants are: • Safeguarding training within 1 year • Infection Control training within 1 year • Moving and Handling training within 1 year • A DBS check for adults services dated within the last 12 months preferably on the update service • A minimum of 3 months experience in a Health and Social Care environment QS Care can provide training opportunities for candidates with training that has expired. Additionally, we can arrange a DBS application on behalf of the candidate where the last check was done over 1 year ago and is not on the update service.
