Agency Care Assistants needed for Weekend Nights

You will initially be paid £10.01 per shift, rising to £12.07 after 12 qualifying weeks, depending on the shifts worked.
The hours for this position are 22:00 hrs to 07:00 hrs Saturday to Sunday.
Are you looking for an opportunity to make some extra money on the weekends, with on-going weekly competitive pay? We are looking for experienced Care Assistants needed for continuous night shifts on the weekends with immediate starts in Ilkeston.
The home prides itself in caring for sicknesses correlated with old age such as dementia.
Daily living tasks and personal care will also be a couple of the responsibilities you undertake.
It is essential that you have empathy, clear knowledge and passion to work with people suffering with Dementia related illnesses and the elderly, as we would need you to hit the ground running while you lead by the right example.
Minimum requirements for Care Assistants are:
• Safeguarding training within 1 year
• Infection Control training within 1 year
• Moving and Handling training within 1 year
• A DBS check for adults services dated within the last 12 months preferably on the update service
• A minimum of 3 months experience in a Health and Social Care environment
QS Care can provide training opportunities for candidates with training that has expired. Additionally, we can arrange a DBS application on behalf of the candidate where the last check was done over 1 year ago and is not on the update service.
